JUDGMENT : 1. Learned counsel for the petitioner has pointed out to us that a Division Bench of the Andhra Pradesh High Court xxxx preferred to refrain from entertaining the writ petition at the instance of the petitioners therein in view of the fact that the State of Andhra Pradesh is taking care of the interest of the inhabitants of the State. That being so, there is no reason why the petitioner - State of Karnataka cannot file its reply and take such a plea in response to the notice issued to it in the writ petition filed by the inhabitants - respondents herein. At present, we find that there is no occasion for the transfer of that writ petition to this p Court for the reason indicated. 2. The transfer petition is dismissed.
