JUDGMENT : 1. I.A. No. 3 in Presidential Election Petition 1/97 is allowed. 2. Election Petition No.... This petition has been filed by the petitioner in person. It has been described as Election Petition-cum-Writ Petition. When it was put to the petitioner as to whether he would like the petition to be treated as an Election Petition or as a Writ Petition because a composite petition of this nature cannot be entertained, the petitioner stated that he would like the petition to be treated as a Writ Petition and the reliefs sought regarding setting aside the election of respondent No.1, be treated as expunged. On the said statement of the petitioner this petition is treated as a Writ Petition and the reliefs A.C.D. and H with regard to setting aside the election of respondent No.1 are deleted from the petition.
