ORDER : M. Jagannadha Rao, J. We have heard learned counsel for the parties. We have also seen the report dated 2-5-1998 of the Sub-Committee appointed by the Special Cell to study the techno-economic feasibility of the alternative parking site. 2. We direct that the existing parking site at the western gate of the Taj Mahal shall be closed and alternative parking site shall be developed at Amrud-ka-Tila, as suggested by the Sub-Committee, as the alternative site would be beyond 500 metres of the Taj Mahal. Since the development of alternative site will take some time, we direct that the existing site will be used for parking of vehicles for another 6 months. Thereafter it shall be closed. The alternative Amrud-ka-Tila shall be prepared and developed as an alternative site within that time by the authorities concerned. 3. In order to develop an alternative site at Amrud-ka-Tila, if any building is required to be constructed, the building plan, as also the number of shops which are proposed to be constructed shall be filed in this Court, and any construction will be raised only after the plan is approved by this Court. 4. The IA is disposed of. IA No. 56 of 1998 5. In view of the order passed in IA No. 53 of 1998 in WP (C) No. 13381 of 1984, this application is dismissed as having become infructuous.
