JUDGMENT 1. - Heard. 1. It was submitted that though the first bail application has been rejected by this court on 11.4.97, but since thereafter only 10 witnesses have been examined out of 28, who are to be examined at the trial of the applicant. It was further pointed-out that the applicant is in jail from 25.10.96 and that the charge levelled against him was to the effect that he had tried to set the SARI of his wife to fire. It was further submitted that looking to the long period of detention of the applicant in jail, and slow progress of the trial of the applicant and the nature of abusing against him, the applicant may be admitted to bail. 2. In view of the facts stated above, which are not disputed on behalf of the prosecution, I feel inclined to direct that the applicant Madan Mohan @ Mohan S/o Hari Ram, accused in FIR No. 31/96, registered at Police Station, Kaman Distt. Bharatpur, shall be released on bail on his furnishing one surety in the amount of Rs. 5,000/- with personal bond in he like amount to the satisfaction of the trial court. *******
