ORDER : Dr.A.S.ANAND, CJI. and M. Srinivasan and N. Santosh Hegde, JJ. - There is an inordinate delay of 360 days in filing this appeal. In the application seeking condonation of delay, there is no explanation, whatsoever, of delay which occurred after 18-5-1997 till 5-6-1998, when the appeal was filed. The affidavit is singularly silent in that regard. 2. In the absence of any explanation, much less a satisfactory or reasonable explanation, it is not possible to accept the application seeking condonation of delay. 3. The application seeking condonation of delay is rejected. Consequently, this appeal shall stand dismissed as barred by time.
