ORDER Heard counsel for the parties. 2. By this writ application the petitioner, who retired some time in 1983, has approached this court for issuance of writ of mandamus commanding upon the respondents to pay the retiral dues. It is submitted that the petitioner was pursuing the matter departmentally and that is why he could not approach this court within a reasonable period. 3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, in my opinion, the claim of the petitioner has become stale and no direction should be issued in exercise of power under Article 226 of the Constitution. If so advised the petitioner may pursue the matter departmentally and the authorities concerned, if so advised, may consider the case of the petitioners in accordance with law. 4. With this observations and directions this application is disposed of.
