The prayer of the petitioners is to quash the first information report dated 29-4-95 giving rise to registration of crime case No. 41 of 1995 under Section 409, I. P. C P. S. Badshahi Naka, District Kanpur Nagar. 3. Sri Sudhir Mehrotra, learned A. G. A. informs us that he has received a fax message from Senior Superintendent of Police, Kanpur Nagar that the final report No. 37/95 dated 11-7-95 submitted by the police is yet to be accepted by the Magistrate concerned. The said fax mes sage is being kept on record. 4. Sri Manoj, learned counsel ap pearing on behalf of the learned counsel for the petitioners, on the hand, con tended that the petitioners had informed him earlier that the Magistrate concerned has directed further enquiry and there after the petitioners have not contacted him for the purposes of pressing this writ petition. 5. In view of the aforementioned backdrop we dismiss this writ petition. 6. The office is directed to hand over a copy of this order to Sri Sudhir Mehrotra, learned A. G.
