Judgment S.S.Nijjar, J. 1. Counsel for the petitioner relies on the judgment of this Court in Bhajan Singh v. State of Punjab, 1998(4) RCR (Crl.) 250. In this case, the Court has observed that the instructions dated 21.4.1972 have not been superseded by virtue of the notification dated 8.7.1991. 2. In view of the above, the case of the petitioner has to be considered son the basis of the instructions dated 21.4.1972. Consequently, the petition respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioner on the basis of the instructions dated 21.4.1972. The necessary orders be passed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this or der. No costs.
