Judgment 1. The petitioner society calling itself a society for social welfare and economic development, is making a grievance by this petition that certain examinations, which have been held by the Government of India, providing for public recruitment by different ministries and departments should be spread in such a manner so that the candidates may be able to take all the examinations as announced. 2. The contention is that certain dates overlap and, thus, prevents the candidates from taking an opportunity of taking all the examinations, when he may be busy with one or an another. 3. This is not a matter, which the High Court can take up as a Public Interest Litigation as the examinations are set by the Union of India in consultation with public bodies like the Public Service Commission and if the petitioners have any grievance then they would be well advised to get it on touch with their elected representatives. Suffice it to say that no person affected approached the court and the generalisation of the petitioner society is not the reality of all examinations being taken by all the candidates. Dismissed.
