Judgment 1. The present petition has been filed by Nagrik Manch Vishnupur Titara through its Convenor, one Prof. Vivekanand Shukla, as a public interest litigation. 2. The grievance in the petition is that the polling booths in village Titara are less than ordinarily they should be. The contention is that some voters have to walk 1 to 2 KMs and yet voters have to walk about 2 KMs. 3. This aspect apparently is the subject matter of guide lines by the Election Commission of India for polling stations. The petitioner himself has appended the record to the effect that ordinarily it may be seen that no voter is required to travel more than two KMs. for recording his vote. But, exceptionally it has been provided that such a rule may need to be treated as an exception for relaxation. 4. The grievance of the petitioner is apparently in the wrong forum. It should be best addressed to the authority which monitors election. 5. This writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
