Judgment 1. The petitioner is the widow of Late Shoedhar Singh, who retired as Superior Peon from the office of Block Development Officer, Gurua, Gaya on 30th May, 1991 and uitimately died on 4.11.1995. Her grievance is that the amount of provident fund payable to her husband has not been paid even after lapse of almost long nine years of his retirement. 2. Learned Standing counsel no. VIII appearing for the respondent has fairly agreed for disposal of the writ petition with the direction to the Block Development Officer, Gurua. Gaya (respondent no. 4) and the District Provident Fund Officer, Gaya (respondent no. 3) to examine the said grievance of the petitioner and dispose it of by a reasoned order within two weeks of the receipt/production of a copy of this order. 3. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with the aforesaid direction and observation. 4. The said respondents are also directed to issue necessary authorisation for payment of the amount of provident fund payable to the deceased Government servant with up-to-date statutory interest thereon within the said time. 5. It is made clear that if the claim of the petitioner is not finally disposed of, as directed above, the said two authorities, namely, respondent nos. 3 and 4, shall not draw their salary and other allowances till the order is fully complied.
