( 1 ) DISMISSED as infructuous. IA No. 501 ( 2 ) AFTER hearing learned counsel for the parties we permit the Railways to use the sleepers which are already procured and are lying in the railway stores, particulars of which are detailed in the application. The application is disposed of. IA No. 503 ( 3 ) THIS application was filed seeking to quash and set aside the stay orders passed by the Civil Judge (Junior Division) and Judicial Magistrate of the First Class, Alwar which was stated to be followed by our order dated 12-12-1996 whereby mining activities were permitted in the forest area. ( 4 ) THE learned amicus curiae brings to our notice the fact that subsequently the State of Rajasthan had filed revision petition against the said order and the High Court allowed the said applications and set aside the orders of injunction which had been granted. ( 5 ) LEARNED amicus curiae informs us that appeals filed by the State of rajasthan which were allowed by the District Judge, Alwar who set aside the injunction which was granted by the civil revisions filed by the mine-owners against the orders of the District Judge were dismissed. We are further informed that this Court dismissed the special leave petitions against the said orders of the High Court dismissing the civil revisions. It is indeed gratifying to note that at least one State Government has woken up to the danger of deforestation and has taken appropriate action whenever any action is taken by the forest-owner. This application is disposed of. IAs Nos. 528 and 528-A ( 6 ) THESE IAs are dismissed as withdrawn. ( 7 ) LEARNED counsel for the Union of India to file response within this week.
