JUDGMENT : Contempt Petition No. 88 of 2000 1. On 13th March, 2000, we had issued notice in this petition with the idea that the respondents may show cause as to why contempt of court proceedings be not initiated against them. The notice was thus meant to be only “show cause notice” and the same shall be read in that manner. 2. The respondents are present in person. Contempt Petition No. 81 3. In view of the clarification made above regarding the nature of the notice, there is no need of personal presence by any of the respondents. 6. Responses, if any, shall be filed by the respondents to the show cause notice within three weeks with an advance copy to learned counsel opposite. 7. Mr. A.S. Chandlok, President, Delhi High Court Bar Association submits that the communication dated 7th March, 2000 has not been given effect to and shall not be given effect to by the Delhi High Court Bar Association. We record his statement. 8. Mr. Harish N. Salve, learned Solicitor General is present in Court. He submits that according to the information given to him by the President, Delhi High Court Bar Association, members of the Bar shall resume appearing in Court with effect from Thursday, the 6th April, 2000. 9. List after four weeks with the connected matter.
