ORDER Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this petition, which was filed in public interest highlighting the menace prevailing in the educational institutions of the country in the matter of ragging of fresh students has achieved its purpose through the order of the Court dated 4th May, 2001*. He submits that nothing further is required to be done in so far as this petition is concerned except that the respondents be directed to give wide publicity to the suggested guidelines of the Court as contained in that order. 2. The learned Additional Solicitor General, who appears for the respondents, submits that the needful shall be done.
