JUDGMENT : 1. The transfer petitions have been heard for some time. It is now agreed that the following order should be made on the transfer petitions: 2. The hearing of the appeals shall commence afresh before a Judge, other than the learned Judge who has already heard the appeals in part, to be nominated by the in-coming Chief Justice of the High Court at Madras within one week of his appointment. 3. The petitioner shall furnish to the Registrar General of the High Court at Madras a list of all the documents that he still requires on or before 5.00 p.m. on 10th September, 2001. The Registry shall comply with the petitioner's request and shall make available to him, in accordance with the rules of the High Court, the entirety of the record, in each of the 18 appeals, that is before the High Court. This shall be done on or before 18th September, 2001. 4. The hearing of all the 18 appeals shall commence not earlier than 1st October, 2001. 5. The parties shall have liberty to apply. 6.
