Verma, J. : This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a writ of mandamus to command the respondents to take a decision on the application of the petitioner for grant of arm licence. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that police authorities have already made recommendations in favour of the petitioner for grant of arm-licence. The application of the petitioner is pending since. 3. For the aforesaid reasons, the respondent no. 1 District Magistrate, Udham Singh Nagar is directed to consider and dispose of the application of the petitioner for grant of arm-licence within one month From the date of production of a certified copy of this order. 4. The petition is disposed of finally with the aforesaid directions.
