JUDGMENT P.C. Verma and M.C. Jain, JJ. By this writ petition, the petitioner has •challenged the policy relating to the sale and distribution of the liquor in the State. Nothing has been brought on record showing that the policy is contrary to any of the provision of the constitution. It is settled law that the grant of liquor license is nothing but a privilege and so that the State has sole right to frame its policy relating to the grant of the said privilege. No one can claim a fundamental right for the same in view of the law laid down in Hari Shankar v. Dy. Excise and Taxation Commissioner reported in A.I.R. 1975 SC 1121. 2. No other point has been pressed. 3. The writ petition is dismissed.
