ORDER 1. This Court, at the very outset, express its gratitude to S/Shri Tapen Sen, M.S. Anwar and M.S. Mittal, Advocates for having taken up, at the instance of this Court, the onerous task of visiting the Hospital yesterday and holding parleys with the representatives of the doctors. 2. When the matter came up today, this Committee submitted a report in the Court. This Court also expresses its gratitude to the learned Advocate General who was very kind in assessing the feeling of the Court and conveying the same to the State Government. 3. The learned Advocate General has stated before us that the State Government shall, in a day or two constitute a One Man Committee comprising of Mr. V.S. Dubey, Chief Secretary, Government of Jharkhand to look into the three demands/grievances of the striking doctors, namely, the restoration of House Jobs, the increase in the stipendiary allowance for Interns and the increase of stipend of the P.O. Students. 4. This Committee shall also be ready and willing to meet the representatives of the Doctors association within a week from today, if any request is received seeking such a meeting. This Committee shall also (sic) if submitted by the doctors. 5. The report by this Committee shall be submitted to the State Government within four weeks from today and the State Government on consideration of this report shall take appropriate follow-up action within six weeks thereafter. 6. The One Man Committee and the State Government shall also take into account the recommendations of the High Powered Committee constituted by Order of this Court in relation to the affairs of the R.M.C.H., with particular reference to the need for restoration of the House Jobs. 7. The learned Advocate General has further stated before us that the Chief Minister of the State shall be too happy to meet about 4-5 representatives of the doctors tomorrow. The learned Advocate General shall intimate by today evening itself the time and place of their meeting. This information shall be given to Mr. Anwar, who undertakes to convey it to the doctors. 8. Based on the aforesaid developments, the two doctors present before us, namely. Dr. Khalid Mahmood and Dr.

Dr. Khalid Mahmood and Dr. Sunil Kumar have stated before us that they are calling off/suspending the strike with immediate effect and that on rushing to the hospital, they shall ensure that the normalcy in the working of the Hospital is resumed today itself, as early as possible. 9. In the light of the aforesaid developments, Mr. Anwar seeks the leave of this Honble Court to withdraw this writ application. This writ application is disposed of accordingly. 10.
