B.N.KIRPAL, J. (1) IT is informed by the learned counsel for the respondent that the DTAB meets approximately twice a year and the Expert Committee constituted by it which looks into the question as to whether some of the drugs or drug formulations should be permitted to be manufactured and marketed meets about 5 to 6 times a year. (2) LEARNED counsel states that the DTAB shall meet at least once in six months and the Expert Committee appointed by the DTAB to look into the question of drug formulations shall meet at least once in two months. This statement is recorded and the respondent will be bound by it. (3) IF the petitioners or any other body or undertaking has/have any suggestion to make with regard to any of the drug formulations, they will be at liberty to send the suggestions or the representation to the DTAB which shall consider the same as expeditiously as possible and if possible in the next meeting. (4) COUNSEL for the respondent states that for some of the drug formulations which are being banned, decision in regard thereto has been taken and notification has been sent to the Press for printing. (5) THE matters are now disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
