JUDGMENT : 1. Learned Attorney General submits that he has received a copy of the suggestions filed by the Election Commission. He prays for and is granted four weeks' time to file response of the Union of India to various suggestions made by the Election Commission as also to the directions given by the High Court to achieve the objective of checking criminalisation of politics or misuse of money or muscle power. 2. Mr. Kapil Sibal, learned Senior counsel is present on behalf of the Indian National Congress. He submits that the Indian National Congress would also like to assist the Court and make certain suggestions. Mr. Sibal is permitted to file suggestions keeping in view the order of the High Court and the suggestions made by the Election Commission. 3. Ms. Kamini Jaiswal, shall have two weeks' time after responses are filed by the Union of India and Indian National Congress to make her suggestions, if any. 4. The operation of the directions given by the High Court shall stay till further orders. 5. The SLP shall come up for consideration of admission after seven weeks.
