ORDER Amar Dutt, J. - Accused is stated to have fired upon the police party. No injury was found on any member of the aforesaid police party. Accused is in custody in this case since 14.10.2000. No progress is being made in this case. The trial is likely to take some time. Therefore, the petitioner is admitted to bail on his furnishing bail bond in the sum of Rs. 30,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of CJM, Amritsar. Petition allowed.
