S. K. Mahajan ( 1 ) IN terms of the affidavit filed on 8/10/1998, the municipal Corporation of Delhi had undertaken some demolition work by removing the walls of the rooms, chhajja and toilets but complete demolition had not taken place due to heavy public obstruction. The affidavit does not disclose as to what action has been taken after 19/09/1997. Mr. S. K. Sardana, Assistant engineer, Building Department, Central Zone, Municipal Corporation of Delhi, is present in Court and undertakes to demolish the unauthorised construction which may be existing at site within two months from today. ( 2 ) IN view of the undertaking given by the respondent, in my view, nothing survives in this petition and the same stands disposed of. The petitioner will be at liberty to revive this petition in case the demolition of the unauthorised construction is not done in terms of the undertaking filed by the respondent. Petition disposed of.
