JUDGMENT Irshad Hussain and M. M. Ghildiyal, JJ. Heard Sri Ramji Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri U. K. Uniyal, learned counsel for the respondents. 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that he was in jail for more than 48 hours without any fault and the respondent authorities were expected to resort to the provisions of Rule (4) (3) (b) of the U .P. Government Servant (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1999. The representation of the petitioner under Rule (4) (3) (b) of the U. P. Government Servant (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1999 is pending disposal with the authorities. 3. The respondent authorities are directed to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 14.11.2002 contained in Annexure 6 to the writ petition within a period of six weeks in accordance with the rules. With this the petition is disposed of.
