Issue notice on the Presidential Reference to all the State Governments, Election Commission and to the six National Recognised Political parties, returnable on 29.8.2002. On that day direction will be given for setting down the date of hearing and the time schedule in respect of hearing of the Presidential Reference. 2. Notice be served through respective Chief Secretaries and to respective Advocate Generals of each State. 3. Notice be served by FAX as well as by COURIER and through messenger by the Union of India. Notice which is issued shall be accompanied by a copy of the order passed by the Election Commission. Union of India is permitted to serve notice by dasti also. 4. Notice is accepted by Mr. S. Muralidhar for Election Commission, Mr. P.K. Mullick for Indian National Congress, Ms. Bina Gupta for B.J.P., Mr. B.K. Pal for C.P.I., Mr. H.K. Puri for C.P.I.(M) and Mr. Irshad Ahmad for N.C.P.
