JUDGMENT : 1. Issue notice. 2. Before considering the application, the Court would like to ascertain as to whether the order passed by this Court on 3rd September, 2002 and the order of the Cauvery River Authority dated 8th September, 2002 have been complied with, in the sense that the water which was directed to be released reached Mettur Dam or not. 3. We direct the Union of India to give a report in the form of an affidavit on or before 20th September, 2002. 4. To come up on 23rd September, 2002.
