In the meantime, water as directed to be released by the Cauvery River Authority (C.R.A.) in the manner indicated by it, should be released/ensured as per the C.R.A.'s order dated 8th September, 2002. This will be subject to any further order of the C.R.A. which it may pass in modification of its order dated 8th September, 2002, if it chooses fit to do so.
