S. P. MEHROTRA, J. ( 1 ) THIS writ petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of india, inter-alia, praying for the following reliefs : " (a) a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No. 1 to declare the petitioners result of High School year 2002 as a fresh after getting English II Paper and Drawing paper valuated properly and justice be done; (b) a writ, order or direction which this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case; (c) award costs of the petition to the petitioner. " ( 2 ) IT is, inter-alia, alleged by the petitioner that the petitioner appeared in the High School examination, 2002 as a regular student from D. A. V. Inter College, Orai at Jalaun. and that he was allotted Roll No. 998293 : and that the result of High School was declared on 18th March, 2002 but the result of the petitioner was shown as incomplete as the marks of English II Paper was not evaluated ; and that the petitioner came to know that his copy of English II Paper was misplaced and hence the same could not be evaluated ; and that the Principal of D. A. V. Inter college, Orai at Jalaun by his letter dated 2nd July, 2002 informed the respondent No. 1 that the principal of Shri Gandhi Inter College, Orai at Jalaun issued attendant-sheet which established that the petitioner appeared in English II Paper Examination; and that thereafter, the respondent no. 1 without tracing out the answer-books of the petitioner, awarded similar marks to the petitioner in English II Paper as were awarded him in English I Paper which has caused great injustice. ( 3 ) IN the circumstances, the petitioner filed the present writ petition seeking the reliefs quoted above. ( 4 ) BY the order dated 9th September, 2002, the answer-books of the petitioner in respect of english II Paper and Drawing were summoned by this Court. ( 5 ) LEARNED Standing Counsel has produced before me today the answer-books of the petitioner in english II Paper as well as subject Drawing. ( 6 ) I have perused the answer-books of the petitioner in the aforesaid subjects/ papers. ( 6 ) I have perused the answer-books of the petitioner in the aforesaid subjects/ papers. Marks have been awarded to the petitioner in respect of all the questions attempted by the petitioner in both the aforesaid subjects papers. Totaling of marks in both the aforesaid subjects papers has been correctly done. No glaring error is found in the evaluation of the answer-books in the aforesaid subjects/papers. No interference is called for in exercise of writ jurisdiction under article 226 of the Constitution of India in respect of the examination of the petitioner in the aforementioned English II Paper and subject Drawing. .
