ORDER : 1. So far as the proposal of having an alternative alignment to the existing road is concerned, Mr. Mishra appearing for the State of Uttaranchal states that the State of Uttar Pradesh is not agreeing to the same on account of which the alternative road is not being put into execution. The learned counsel appearing for the State of Uttar Pradesh is directed to file an affidavit within four weeks from today indicating as to why the aforementioned plot of land be not handed over to the State of Uttaranchal for construction of the alternative road, which is absolutely necessary in the interest of the project Tiger. Put up after four weeks. 2. The appearance of the Chief Secretary of Uttaranchal State is dispensed with for the time being.
