Judgment 1. This appeal has been filed against an order dated 22 January 2002. This is a common order which was passed on CWJC No. 12014 of 2000 and CWJC No. 3412 of 2000. In so far as the CWJC No. 3412 of 2000 is concerned it was a matter which related to the claim of a franchise to run a retail outlet of Indo-Burma Petroleum Company Limited to one Ram Dai Devi, who claimed that she ought to be made an agent on the basis of an allotment reserved for a freedom fighter. The record reveals that she was not a freedom fighter but only a wife of a freedom fighter and, thus, she was unsuited in seeking a claim. 2. The present petition is by a person who says that if Ramdai Devi had been unsuited then in the selection, which was caused, he was at serial no. 2. The contention is that logically he is entitled to receive this franchise as of right to become an agent of Indo-Burma Petroleum Company. 3. In so far as this petitioner-appellant is concerned, the learned judge has recorded that the oil company now has decided that instead of giving out the franchise on the basis of a selection which contemplated earlier, the oil company would run the outlet itself. This decision of the oil company to run a retail outlet itself can give no cause or grievance to the petitioner-appellant. 4. Dismissed.
