body2002
JUDGMENT 1. - Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. The petitioner, who claims himself to be bonafide resident of Rajasthan and member of the Scheduled Caste, has made an application for appointment as a III Grade Teacher, in pursuance of advertisement details of which have not been furnished. 3. Be that as it may, he was told that since his application form was not accompanied with the two requisite certificates of bonafide resident of Rajasthan as well as the member of the Scheduled Caste of which he alleged to be belonging to, his name has been considered only in General Category and finding him lower in order of merit, he has not been called for interview This petition has been filed for a mandamus to the respondents to invite the petitioner for interview and to give him appointment, if otherwise, found suitable by treating him to be bonafide resident of Rajasthan and member of Scheduled Caste. 4. However, it is not in dispute before me now that the original certificates required for complete form were not accompanying the application. This is also apparent from the reply submitted by the respondents that since application form was not accompanied with the requisite documents about which the specific requirement was notified, the petitioner having not been given benefit of same and was found to be lower in order of merit as per the marks secured in written examination, therefore, he was not invited for interview. 5. I find no infirmity in the aforesaid circumstances to indict the selection process carried out by the respondents by not inviting the petitioner for interview as per the order of merit in the absence of complete form submitted by him. No relief can be granted to the petitioner for his own default. The petition is dismissed with no order as to costs. The interim order discharged.Writ Petition dismissed. *******
