Judgment 1. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. The petitioner says that Title Appeals No. 8/91 and 9/91 are pending consideration for last 11 years and despite transfer of the case from one Court to the other, the appeals are not being finally heard and disposed of. He has prayed for a simple writ that the concerned Appellate Court be directed to dispose of the appeals at their earliest preferably within a fixed time. 3. Taking into consideration that the appeals are pending for almost about 11 years I am of the opinion that the District Judge must be asked to look into the matter. On submission of a copy of this order, the District Judge shall look into the matter and shall advise the concerned Appellate Court to dispose of the matter finally within a period of four months from the date of the directions issued by the District Judge to the concerned Additional District Judge. If for some reason or the other, the appeals cannot be heard or disposed of by the said Appellate Court then the District Judge shall withdraw the case from the said court and shall personally hear the matter and decide those appeals finally. 4. The petition is disposed of with the directions aforesaid.
