JUDGMENT Irshad Hussain, J. : Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents. 2. The petitioner is working as Research Assistant (Agriculture) in Animal Husbandry Department. Presently, he is posted at Pashu Lok Farm, Rishikesh. He is transferred to Chamoli. His transfer has been seriously challenged before us by the learned counsel for the petitioner. Further he urged that since his children are studying at Rishikesh and they will complete their examinations by March, as such, he be continued at Rishikesh for a period of two months. 3. Relief has not been disputed by the other side. 4. In view of this, we direct the department that the order of transfer of the petitioner shall be kept in abeyance for a period of two months from today. On 1st May, 2002, the petitioner shall join at the place of transfer without any further notice. Petitioner undertakes to join at the place of transfer without any further notice. 5. With this, the petition is disposed of.
