JUDGMENT : 1. The learned Amicus submits that many papers/documents have been circulated between the last date of hearing and today, and some of them belatedly. There are some reports/responses not yet received and if received, he has not been apprised thereof. He prays for a reasonable time being allowed to prepare himself with all the available reports/responses so as to usefully assist the Court. 2. Perused the office report dated, 17th April, 2002. Such of the compliance which are yet to be made, shall be so made positively on or before 30th June, 2002. Such of the Commissions/Committees who have not given response so far, shall be issued a reminder by the office. 3. Copies of the reports, responses received in the office may be made available to learned Amicus by the Registry. 4. On 19th July, 2002, the matter shall be listed for hearing qua the States of Haryana, Punjab, Karnataka, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. Learned counsel appearing for these States are requested to be ready with hearing so that the matter can be heard avoiding unnecessary adjournment on the appointed date. I.A. NO. 3965 OF 2002 5. This is an application by Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Copy of this application has been delivered to the learned Amicus as also to counsel for State of West Bengal.
