ORDER : 1. Status Report submitted by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State of U.P. be taken on record. (1) As per the said report, out of 292 units none of the foundaries is using coal/coke. (2) Air quality monitoring stations are established and functioning. (3) For the Slaughter House it has been stated that presently the Municipal Corporation is running Slaughter House by deploying its own staff. However, contract for the operation and management of the Slaughter House has been awarded to M/s. FRIGORI FICO Allana Ltd., Mumbai, on lease for a period of ten years, at the rate of Rs. 12.66 lacs per month for the first year and the contract would be signed within one week from today. (4) For the security deployment it has been agreed that the CISF would take over the security of the Taj Complex from 1st of May, 2002. It is also agreed that on 30th April, 2002, there will be a formal meeting of the concerned officers of the State as well as the CISF, for handing over the charge. IA No.302 2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. 3. In compliance with this Court's order dated 19th March, 2002, the Dy. Director of the Office of the Surveyor General of India has filed an affidavit wherein it is stated that almost all the brick kilns are within a radial distance of 20 Kms. from the Taj and significant monuments mentioned in the report. Learned counsel for the brick kilns owners seek some time for going through the copy of the said affidavit and the annexures. Registry is directed to give the copy of the said affidavit along with annexures to the learned counsel for the brick kilns owners, within one week from today. Further time is also granted for filing necessary counter to the said affidavit. 4. Stand over beyond summer vacation. IA Nos.332-334, 335 and 337-343 5. List these applications on 2nd of May, 2002. 6. All the other IAs. shall stand over beyond summer vacation.
