ORDER S.J. Mukhopadhaya, J. 1. The petitioners preferred this application for direction on respondents to absorb/regularise them against any post equivalent to the post of Instructor. 2. The case of petitioners is that they were working as Instructor under the State in its non-formal Education Scheme (Commonly known as Adult Education). They worked for a period of about 9 to 14 years whereinafter the scheme having completed the respondents are not taking work from them. 3. From the pleadings made by petitioners and fact as it is evident that the petitioners are no more in the role of the State, this Court is not inclined to direct the respondents to absorb/regularise them. 4. In near future, if any, post is advertised/or persons are engaged the new scheme, the petitioner may approach the competent authority to give them preference over outsiders and relaxation of age, if overage. 5. The writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid observations and direc tions.
