JUDGMENT It is the case of petitioner that his medical reimbursement bill bas not been settled by the Janpad Panchayat in spite of the fact that the competent authorities of the State Government vide Annexure A/8 dated 29.7.1997 and Annexure A/9 dated 3.2.1998 have approved for payment and forwarded the same to the Janpad Panchayat for making necessary payment. It is the grievance of the petitioner that inspite of the knowledge Janpad Panchayat has not taken any action in settling the entire dues of the petitioner. Notice was issued and the petition is pending since 1999. In spite of receipt of notice, respondents have not appeared and filed their return. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and in view of the orders passed vide Annexure A/8 and Annexure A/9, it is directed that the respondent 5 shall take immediate steps for settlement of the medical reimbursment claim of the petitioner in accordance with the directive issued by the State Government vide Annexures A/8 and A/9 and make such payment which is due to the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of filing of a certified copy of this order. The petition is disposed of accordingly. C.C. as per rules.
