Judgment ( 1 ) IT is stated by Mr A. D. N. Rao that despite the order of this Court of 8/4/2002, the examination for issuing licences to guides has not been held so far. The plea taken is that in 1996 there was an examination and ASI had a confusion in its mind whether that examination was sufficient or not. We find this an absolutely irresponsible and lame excuse trying to justify the non-compliance with this Courts order of 8/4/2002. Eight weeks time is now granted to conduct the examination on payment of Rs. 10,000. 00 as costs. List after eight weeks.
