Since the matter in issue is the same, all 4 petitions are disposed of vide a single order. However, a copy of the order shall be placed on each file. 3. The Assistant Collector IInd Grade found respondent No. 1 (in each case) to be in cultivating possession of the land in dispute. The appeal and revision against that order were dismissed as aforesaid. The Sub Judge Ist Class, Tarn Taran vide judgment and decree dated 16.11.1994 and the Additional District Judge, Amritsar vide judgment and decree dated 15.11.1997 have held against the petitioner. Counsel for the petitioner contends that status quo has been ordered by the High Court of Punjab and Haryana in pending RSA Nos. 990 and 992 of 1998 against the trial and appellate court orders, and hence the present proceedings should be adjourned sine die. 4. The matter relates to correction of khasra girdawri for Sauni 1992. More than one jamabandi has been prepared since then. No useful purpose would be served by the keeping these RORs in abeyance until the decision of the RSAs. Any order of the High Court of Punjab and Haryana will be implemented in letter and spirit. The petitions are dismissed. Announced. Petitions dismissed.
