From the information received, it transpires that in 26 States Tribunals have been constituted under the Act and in 5 States, namely, States of Assam, Goa, Orissa, Chhatisgarh and Union Territory of Chandigarh, the constitution of Tribunal is in process. They are directed to conclude the constitution of Tribunal under the Act within eight weeks from today. 3. So far as States of Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim are concerned, they need not have any Tribunal in view of the circumstances indicated in the letter. 4. Put up this matter after eight weeks.
