Judgment : S. J. MUKHOPADHAYA, J. ( 1 ) THE petitioner, an Advocate of dhanbad has preferred this writ petition for direction on the respondent-Agricultural Produce Market Committee, Dhanbad to reimburse the bill submitted by him for appearance in different Courts in the Civil Court, dhanbad in connection vath work of Agricultural Produce Market Committee, damkara, Dhanbad. ( 2 ) ACCORDING to petitioner, a sum of Rs. 2,95,517/- is payable to him by the respondents for conducting their departmental cases on contractual basis with 9% interest and compensation of Rs. 50. 000/ -. ( 3 ) ON the other hand, according to counsel for the respondents, a sum of rs. 17,211/- is payable to petitioner for the period in question which has been sent by cheque No 563526, dated 16th August, 2003. ( 4 ) COUNSEL for the respondents submitted that bill for adjournment of the cases etc. has been submitted by petitioner, though it is not payable. He has been paid the amount for actual appearance and argument in terms of the order of appointment. ( 5 ) HAVING regard to the facts and circumstances, no further order is required to be passed in the present case. If the petitioner is not satisfied with the amount already sent by cheque, may approach the Secretary, Agricultural Produce Market Committee, dhanbad, who will handover the petitioner the details of the date of appearance etc. for which a sum of Rs. 17,211/- has been paid to him. ( 6 ) ON receipt of such details, if there remains any dispute relating to non-payment of dues of one or other date of appearance/ settlement of draft etc. petitioner may bring it to the notice of the Secretary, Agricultural produce Market Committee, Dhanbad, who will look into the matter and take step within a reasonable period. ( 7 ) THE writ petition stands disposed of, with the aforesaid observations. Order accordingly. --- *** --- .
