ORDER : 1. Report from the Committee headed by a former Judge of this Court and the present Chairman, Law Commission, Hon'ble Mr. Justice M.J. Rao has been received. We place on record our deep appreciation for the enormous time spent and efforts made by Justice Rao and all other members of the Committee in bringing out a detailed Report covering almost every aspect relevant to the issue. Before we consider the Report, it would be expedient to issue notice to Bar Council of India to assist us in the matter. In consultation with learned counsel as also Bar Council of India, we would request certain members of the Bar also to assist the Court as amicus curiae. At first instance, we direct the Registry to supply copy of the Report to Bar Council of India. Issue notice to the Council returnable after two weeks.
