JUDGMENT : 1. Issue notice on the Writ Petition as well as on the application for stay. 2. At our request learned Attorney General appears on behalf of Union of India. He accepts notice and prays for and is allowed two weeks' time to file counter affidavit. Another one week is granted for filing rejoinder affidavit. 3. On instructions from Government of India learned Attorney General stated that there will be no judicial functioning of the Commission constituted under the Competition Commission of India Act, 2002 and Rule 3 of the Competition Commission of India (Selection of Chairperson and other Members of the Commission) Rules, 2003. 4.
