ORDER : 1. Matter regarding compulsory switch over of all two wheelers, three wheelers and motor vehicles of LPG/CNG in cities other than Delhi which are equally or more polluted. 2. Notice has been accepted by Mr. S S Shinde, , Mr. Sanjay R Hegde, and Mr. T V Ratnam, on behalf of State of Maharashtra, State of Karnataka and State of Andhra Pradesh respectively. 3. States of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat are granted two weeks' time to supply the requisite material in format which is an Annexure to the Interim Progress Report on "Particulate Pollution Control Strategy in Critically Polluted Cities", which shall be considered by the Environment Pollution (Prevention & Control) Authority within further period of two weeks. The final report may be submitted by the Authority within eight weeks. 4. List this matter in the third week of January 2004. I.A. No. 222 5. Put up after three weeks. In the meantime, the learned Additional Solicitor General shall obtain instructions as regards suggestions made by the Court. I.A. No. ....... (in re : photographs filed in Court by learned Amicus Curiae) 6. The photographs filed in Court by the learned Amicus Curiae be treated as an I.A. The same be registered as such. 7. Issue notice to H.P.C.L. and Union of India. 8. Reply be filed within a period of four weeks.
