ORDER : 1. It is pointed out by Mr. Sanjiv Sen, learned counsel for the petitioners, that the State Pollution Control Boards, Committees and the Central Pollution Control Board have not complied with the provisions of Rule 8 of the Municipal Solid Wastes (Management and Handling) Rules, 2000. Let an application/affidavit be filed in this regard so that, if necessary, the Pollution Control Boards may be directed to respond. The said application/affidavit be filed within four weeks. 2. The Union of India is granted liberty to file an affidavit, during the course of the day, in regard to inter-ministerial task force report and plant at Lucknow, after service of the affidavit to the concerned counsel. Parties may respond to the affidavit filed by the UOI within four weeks. 3. List after eight weeks.
