ORDER 1. It is stated by the learned Additional Solicitor General that orders have been passed for deportation of all six detenus including the two detenus who are stated to have come from the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The orders were passed on the 10th of this month. According to the learned Additional Solicitor General these deportations are to be effected by 31-1-2004. The Union is directed to place on record copies of the orders passed. The matter is adjourned till January 2004 for the purpose of ascertaining the progress in the deportation of the five detenus. 2. It has come to this Courts notice that there may be some children who are Pakistani citizens and who are stated to have been detained at Faridkot Jail. The learned Additional Solicitor General will make enquiry and his client will submit a report on the next date of hearing. If the information is found to be correct, steps should be taken to deport the children. 3. The State has unfortunately failed to resolve the doubt which had been expressed by this Court on the last occasion regarding the identity of Uma( Din. A last opportunity is given to the State to do so by the reopening date. Court Masters
