ORDER : In terms of order dated 29th October, 2002, the second report has been filed by Dr.NC Saxena. Let the learned Attorney General and other counsel look into it and make suggestions and response thereto. 2. In respect of the direction that the Central Government shall formulate the Scheme to extend the benefits of the Antyodhaya Anna Yojana to the destitute section of the population, learned Attorney General states that the Budget for the year 2003-2004 has made provision for it and he will place on record the relevant documents. 3. Three applications, IA Nos.24, 25 & 26 have been filed by the petitioner. In IA 25 one of the grievance made is that name of various persons are being removed from Below Poverty Line (BPL) list arbitrarily. In IA 26 one of the grievances that has been highlighted is that the allocation made for supply of grain in lieu of the labour of BPL family has been recommended to be reduced from 10 KGs per day per household to 5 KGs and for 10 days in every month till June, 2003. Specific instructions shall be obtained on the relevant schemes mentioned in this application including the matter indicated above. In IA 24 directions have been sought to be issued to Union of India to release 20 metric foodgrains at very minimum free of cost every year for Food-for-Work programmes in the country besides other 4 reliefs. The response shall be filed within three weeks. List these matters along with IA 14 on 8th April, 2003. 4. The Registry will supply copy of the report of Dr.NC Saxena dated 27th February, 2003 to such of the standing counsel for the States who wish to have a copy thereof.
