JUDGMENT 1. - Heard learned Public Prosecutor as well as learned counsel for the respondent. 2. The marriage admittedly was solemnised before a period which was more than seven years prior to death. Allegedly, the Muklava ceremony was performed later. The learned trial Court found that since the death was after the expiry of seven years of marriage. Section 304-B of the IPC could not be attracted. This view finds support from judgment of this Court delivered in the case of Hiralal v. State & Ors. reported in WLC (Raj.) UC 605. The respondent has been found guilty u/s. 498-A of the IPC and has been sentenced to 3 years Rigorous Imprisonment. In the circumstances, there is no ground to allow this petition. 3. Consequently, this petition for leave to appeal is dismissed.Petition dismissed. *******
