body2003
ORDER 1. It is stated at the Bar that meetings between different wings involved in the process have taken place on 26th March, 2003 and 31st March, 2003 but a concrete decision based on consensus is yet to be taken. We reiterate our hope as recorded in the order dated 24.2.2003 and expect that the high level functionaries, preferably at the ministerial level, would now be able to arrive at a consensual decision as early as possible. The hearing is adjourned to 5th May, 2003. However, the construction at the identified sites at Dwaraka, Rohini and Saket shall proceed ahead. 2. Mr. P.P. Rao, learned senior counsel appearing for the High Court of Delhi makes an oral prayer for the order dated 24.1.2001 being suitably modified so that 65 newly recruited Judicial Officers can be accommodated and assigned work. We see merit in the submission so made. The interim order dated 24.1.2001 is modified to the extent that it shall be in the discretion of the Chief Justice of Delhi High Court to make use of such further accommodation as is available in the existing Court complexes in the manner in which the learned Chief Justice may feel to be in public interest.
