JUDGMENT : 1. The matter has been mentioned by Mr. Colin Gonsalves, learned counsel for the petitioner. He has also produced copy of the letter dated 3rd May, 2003 written to the learned Attorney General for India in addition to the orders passed on 2nd May, 2003. None is present for the Union of India. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, we direct that till the next date of hearing the Government of India will not insist the State Government to remove any person from the existing Below Poverty Line (BPL) list.
