JUDGMENT : 1. Inasmuch as there is now an Act, namely, The Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products (Prohibition f Advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce, Production, Supply and Distribution) Act, 2003 (No. 34 of 2003). No further orders are passed on this writ petition. However, it is noticed that the Act has yet not come into force. Until such time, the Act is brought into force, the orders passed by this Court from time to time will operate. Liberty is reserved to the petitioner to challenge the Act or the Regulation which may be framed thereunder, if they are otherwise aggrieved by the same.
